Some of you may be wondering why I made this site or how this site came to be….well, here’s my story:

In August 2024, I was driving back to my home in South Carolina from Tennessee. I had just had my first trip to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. I was driving through the scenic mountain bypass heading towards I-40. There were two stray dogs in the road, not wanting to hit the dogs, I swerved, hit a curb and punctured my tire. Two things to know about me: 1) one of my biggest fears is having my car break down and being stranded 2) I fiercely love animals.

Worried that I’d have a flat tire and no signal, I was trying to get back to the highway as fast as possible in hopes of finding help. I made it the 5+ miles to the highway and found the next exit. I pulled into a small BP gas station and asked the gentleman working if anyone could help change a tire.

The man at the counter pointed me to James (Jimmy) and said he’d be able to help me out. With no hesitation James said he’d meet me at my car and take a look. I was so relieved and grateful that he was even willing to come take a look. He pulled up next to my car and he had his father, son and dog with him. It was a hot humid day, but with no hesitation he had a jack out and was working on changing my tire. He got the spare on, helped me get air in it and made sure I was safe to get back on the road.

I didn’t have a lot of cash on me, but gave him all that I had, which was only $60. He tried to refuse, but I insisted. When I tell you my heart swelled at his gesture of kindness, I mean it to the core. My faith in humanity had been restored by this man’s actions.

In my center counsel, I had two small Jesus dolls that I had just picked up at a souvenir shop during my trip in Pigeon Forge. I held one of those Jesus dolls in my hand the entire trip home, praying the entire time and thanking God for the blessings of that man, James, who took time out of his day to be kind to a complete stranger. I made it home safe and sound and got my tire changed the next day.

I prayed and asked God to put something in my heart to help share kindness with the world in the same way that it had been shown to me. I’m no evangelist or motivational speaker, I knew it would have to be something a little different and have a touch of fun to it. As I sat looking at the Jesus doll, my prayers were answered and this idea came to life. I was going to distribute little Jesus dolls as a way to share His word and bring the love of Christ to other people. Even if it helped one person, it would be worth it.

Within weeks, the ideas kept building, growing and expanding. I knew this was what God wanted me to do. Eventually this site came to fruition, albeit still a work in progress, but I wanted to get this out to the world, while I continue to work on growing it to what it will become.

I still think about those dogs and wonder if they ended up ok. But I also look at the ripple effects of our experiences. How we are always on God’s time and he has a plan for us. Me hitting that curb has lead me on a mission from God to put faith and love back into the world and given me new purpose.

I appreciate you taking the time to read my story and send you blessings!

Be a drop that makes a ripple!
